The new Aero CI4+ fits perfectly into the existing Aero range. With a lightweight CI4+ body and rotor, the Aero CI4+ weighs only 280g making it noticeably lighter than the original Aero models whilst still retaining the oversized AR-C spool. X-Ship gearing and 5 Shielded A-RB bearings transfer power from the single machined aluminium handle to the rotor with maximum efficiency for increased cranking power. The oversized AR-C spool combined with Aero Wrap II line lay results in smoother, longer and more accurate casts and like all Aero models the large diameter spool enables the waterproof front drag to work more effectively when under pressure. The Aero CI4+ comes in two retrieve speeds; the standard model has a powerful 4.8:1 ratio that is perfect for playing hard fighting fish, whilst the HG (high gear) model has a quick 5.8:1 ratio that retrieves over 1 metre of line per handle turn making it more suited to distance fishing. Both models come with a Match and Shallow spool reducer which reduces the line capacity.
